Mandeville Recruitment begin trading from a single office in Taplow, Berkshire.
The original team include today’s Managing Director, David E. Riley and Sales and Operations Director, Richard Holliday. The 4-man team start recruiting for the sales industry from their Berkshire offices. |

Mandeville expands by opening dedicated division specialising in Retail Recruitment based from its Taplow Head Office
Key milestone of £1million turnover achieved for first time in 1998, £1.34 million turnover. This was quickly beaten in 2000 when Mandeville became a £2million company.

Nationwide expansion |

Mandeville opens its first Northern office in Carrington, Manchester in January of this year. This increases our ability to service clients on a nationwide scale and provide large scale recruitment solutions. Hospitality team is added to an already blooming retail recruitment division.

Company growth and profitability attracts offer from Vedior, the world’s fourth largest recruitment company, with a global reach in over 30 countries worldwide.
Mandeville Group joins the Vedior group of companies. Mandeville retains its own direction and leadership with the continuation of David Riley, company founder, as Managing Director. |

Following years of ad-hoc fundraising, Mandeville names Thames HospiceCare as their partner charity, and starts raising awareness and funds for them across the business. Mandeville aims to raise £10,000 for them each year.
Mandeville continues building link with education via various initiatives, including supporting future retail talent by commencing sponsoring local retail degree funds at Oxford Brookes and Manchester Metropolitan Universities |

Mandeville reaches £10million turnover for the first time, and breaks £1million profit in 2007. |

Vedior merge with Randstad – now part of world’s second largest recruitment company, with presence in over 50 countries worldwide, European wide headhunting capacity and truly global scale. Mandeville now part of the global Randstad family, as part of Randstad Professional companies. |

Mandeville strengthens its core expertise in sales, teleresourcing and marketing recruitment by acquiring sister companies within the Vedior Group
- Tanner Menzies – executive sales & marketing recruiter
- Teleresources – telesales and customer management recruiters
As a result of this our Sales recruitment division expands and the Tele-solutions division is created in its own right, combining our telesales specialists with Teleresources teams. |

Stronger support for schools |

Mandeville funds and creates the Max the Cash initiative in aid of Thames Hospicecare, entrepreneurship scheme and competition, with the East Berks Education and Business Partnership and 6 Thames Valley schools. This initiative raises over £2000 for our partner charity from just 4 successful projects. |
